How to Delete Resource Packs in Minecraft Bedrock

One of the good things about Minecraft bedrock is that users can enable or disable any or all of the resource packs when needed. This allows users to choose which resource packs they want to use in a particular world. Although resource packs are quite useful, there will be times when users no longer need a resource pack because it is outdated or no longer works.

In such cases, users can delete the resource pack. Uninstalling Minecraft resource packs helps you clean up clutter and reduce overall disk space usage. Let’s see how to remove resource packs in Minecraft bedrock edition.

Delete Resource Packs in Minecraft Bedrock

To uninstall resource packs in Minecraft Bedrock, you need to use the Global storage option. This cannot be done from the Resource Packs option on the world settings page. Follow the steps below and you’ll be done in no time.

  1. Open the Minecraft app.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Select the Storage option.
  4. Click the Resource Packs tab.
  5. Find and click on the resource pack you want to remove.
  6. Click the Delete icon.
  7. Click the Delete button.

1]Open the Minecraft app

Note that this guide is intended for Minecraft app on Windows 10 and not for gaming users Minecraft in their browsers. Users can do this by searching for it in the To start up menu or by clicking on the Minecraft tile appearing on the right side of the To start up menu.

2] Click on Settings

Click it Settings button on the main screen. This will take you to the main Minecraft Settings Page where you can configure global settings.

3]Select Storage option

Select the Storage room option in the left sidebar. This is the option that displays all of your installed worlds and resource packs in the Minecraft bedrock edition.

4]Click on the Resource Packs tab

Click on the Resource packs tab on the right panel. This action expands the respective to view all installed resource packs.

5]Find and click on the resource pack you want to remove

Select packages

find and Click on on the resource pack you want to delete. This should show more options related to this resource pack.

6]Click on the Delete icon

Press the Remove icon in the extended menu.

7]Click the Delete button

Click on the Remove button in the confirmation window. This will confirm your action to delete the resource pack.

As soon as you click on the Remove button, Minecraft will remove that resource pack almost instantly. If you have multiple resource packs to uninstall, click the Multiple selection option at the top, select all the resource packs you want to delete and click the Dremove button to delete them.
