Minecraft: Bedrock Edition has everything you love about blocky survival gaming with a few extra features. If you want to play the game with friends on mobile, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, this is the mode you need to download. There is also a market where you can spend Minecoins on skins, cards, etc. These features are not available on the Java version. Here’s how to download Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Windows 10.
To download Minecraft on your PC, open the Microsoft Store. Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, Minecraft is not available on Xbox Game Pass for PC, unlike the console version. With the store page open, search for Minecraft for Windows 10. There are three versions you can purchase.
The first is the standard version, which only includes the base game, for $26.99. You can also get the Starter Collection, which comes with 700 Minecoins, a Greek Mash-up Pack, two skin packs, and the Plastic Texture Pack for a few bucks more at $29.99. For more cash, you can also purchase the Master Collection, which includes 1,000 Minecoins, and the Creators Pack, which includes user-created content from the marketplace for $49.99. You can also download the Starter or Master collections from minecraft.net.
After choosing the desired version, complete the payment process and download the game. It will download the Bedrock version of the game, which allows you to play with other Bedrock users. You can also download a free trial from the Windows Store if you want to decide whether to go for the Bedrock or Java edition.
