Minecraft is a sandbox survival and building game originally developed by Mojang. Currently, the game is owned by Microsoft, although it is still available on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles.
Minecraft encourages players to unleash their creativity by creating entire worlds with a building system full of possibilities.
The game is available in two versions: standard Minecraft (or ‘Bedrock’) and Java Edition. The two versions fundamentally differ in performance, mod support, and platform availability.
That said, there is a recurring issue in Minecraft Bedrock that has been around for at least a year.
Minecraft Bedrock textures or blocks turn pink
Custom skin problem on bedrock
For some reason, my custom bedrock skin’s shirt is completely pink no matter which one is equipped. Even the Alex and Steve shirts appear pink.
[Bedrock] It’s been at least a year with this pink block bug
Have they addressed this issue? Eventually, at least when joining Minecraft servers, everyone, many blocks, and sometimes even the UI will turn a bright pink color. No way to get rid of it unless you reboot and even then it will still come back. This happens to me on both PS4 and Windows 10.
Moreover, the problem in question has been present for a long time, as there are related reports that are more than a year old. The cause of the issues seems to be the RenderDragon rendering engine.
Some potential workarounds
At this time, there is no official acknowledgment of the issue from the developers. However, there are potential workarounds that would help resolve or mitigate it.
First, the easiest workaround is to restart the game when the problem appears. However, it will eventually happen again.

A more complex option for players on Windows 10 is to install a version of Minecraft that does not include the RenderDragon renderer:
If you are playing on the Windows 10 version of Minecraft, you can install a version of Minecraft without RenderDragon, which prevents the pink issue from occurring. More information about this can be found here.
