Spooky season, or Halloween if you don’t like fun, is finally here, and with it comes a barrage of in-game events, celebrations, and limited-time seasons so everyone can enjoy the season. scary no matter where they are or what they are playing. Minecraft is jumping on the spooky bandwagon with a slew of in-game activities, merchandise, and events across the Minecraft universe, and it’s my pleasure to share all of those details with you. Mojang Studios celebrates in many ways here, so we’ll go over each of their Three Minecraft games and what everyone is doing to celebrate!
Minecraft
The OG Minecraft game, or, in other words, Minecraft! The world’s most popular game, a creative open-world sandbox of epic proportions, is a household name these days, and the Minecraft brand celebrates Halloween in many ways.
- DIY projects at home: To begin with, Minecraft knows that a significant portion of its dedicated player base is made up of children, which explains the importance of Minecraft: Education Edition and its use as an educational tool. For parents and their kids at home, Minecraft has a few fun DIY projects, including Minecraft-themed Halloween masks and stencils to use in art projects. - Halloween merchandise and costumes: Are you or someone you know looking to share your love of Minecraft with the rest of the world on Halloween night? - Minecraft Market Halloween Collection: Finally, Minecraft will feature a Halloween Collection in the Minecraft Marketplace where players can purchase Halloween-themed maps, texture packs, skins, character creation items, and more. It all happens from October 27 to November 3, 2020, and during the event there will even be a free skin pack and character creator item for players to redeem. You didn’t hear that from me.
Minecraft Dungeons
Taking things down a half notch, Minecraft Dungeons is celebrating spooky season with its Spooky Fall event, which kicks off on October 26 and lasts until the end of November 3, 2020. During the event, Seasonal Trials will offer unique challenges to overcome. , in exchange for exclusive, limited-time rewards. There will also be a new night mode, further adding to the challenge by turning off all the lights. Be sure to take the time to secure rare gear before the event ends.

Finally, we have Minecraft Earth, Minecraft’s oft-forgotten mobile AR sibling. Minecraft Earth enters the spookiest of times with the new Boo! Frightening! Season, with new challenges and rewards. Three new monsters are also coming to the game, between the witch, the vile witch and the climbing zombie, adding to the already very long list of monster variants that Minecraft Earth can boast.
