Update (06/09/2021): the Minecraft Dungeons Twitter account announced that the game’s anniversary event has been extended until June 13.

Minecraft Dungeons was released a year ago (in May 2020), and the game’s developer, Mojang, is celebrating by hosting an anniversary event in the kid-friendly dungeon crawler game.
(If you are unfamiliar, Minecraft Dungeons challenges players to defeat the evil Arch-Illager by completing missions in procedurally generated levels set in the blocky world of Minecraft. You can read more in our review.)
the Minecraft Dungeons The anniversary event will run from May 26 to June 8. During this time, players will be able to complete a series of Seasonal Trials in order to earn special rewards, including a cake-inspired “Birthday Cloak” that can only be claimed through this event. .
Minecraft Dungeons is available on consoles and PC. The game is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB.
Minecraft Dungeons recently received its latest downloadable content pack (DLC), hidden depths, which takes players underwater and lets them defeat new enemies, as well as collect new weapons, gear, and artifacts. Learn more about the hidden depths DLC in our previous coverage.
