If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of the Creeping Winter DLC for Minecraft Dungeons, you’re not alone. Luckily, there’s not much time to wait now, with the update rolling out en masse on September 8, 2020. In the meantime, there’s a new developer diary from Mojang Studios reviewing the Creeping Winter DLC. , and what players can expect from Minecraft Dungeons’ next content injection.

In the video, we learn more about how Creeping Winter differs from previous Jungle Awakens DLC, such as the implementation of an ice sliding mechanic that changes how players will need to move through levels. Creeping Winter will also add new merchants to the camp, add different hostile mobs and cosmetic pets, a variety of new gear, and even daily trials that will further increase the difficulty of the game. The video also hints at the availability of gear. level up, allowing players to increase their power to greater heights.

Minecraft Dungeons: Creeping Winter arrives on September 8, 2020, alongside an all-new physical version of the Hero Edition.
