It may have taken a while, but Microsoft’s hack-‘n-slash adventure has finally arrived on Steam. Minecraft Dungeons is now available on the biggest PC gaming platform with its six DLCs.

Minecraft Dungeons first arrived last year on consoles and the Microsoft Storefront for Windows PC and quickly gained the next with over 11 million players last June. With full cross-platform support, players can explore dungeons with up to four friends whether they want to play on Switch, PS4, Xbox, PC, or even mobile thanks to Xbox Cloud. The Couch co-op is also a big selling point.

In Minecraft Dungeons, you play as a hero on a quest to defeat the evil Arch-Illager who uses the Orb of Dominance to wreak havoc on the Overworld. You’ll liberate towns, defeat monsters, and face tough bosses before challenging the Arch-Illager himself.

Those who have played Minecraft will recognize many of the mobs you’ll hack, such as reepers, evokers, and skeletons, while fans of games like Diablo will find a lot in common with Minecraft Dungeon’s isometric view and combat. The biggest difference from Diablo 3 is how Mincecraft Dungeons is an entirely classless game with your abilities and weapons defining your playstyle.

Since its release, Minecraft Dungeons has received six DLCs, including Jungle Awakens, Creeping Winter, Howling Peaks, Flames of the Nether, and Hidden Depths, Echoing Void. All take place after the main story and continue the hero’s journey to destroy the Orb of Dominance, except for the Echoing Void where players just kill monsters for loot.

You can get Minecraft Dungeons and all six DLCs in the Ultimate Edition for $40, or you can just buy the base game for $20 and decide later if you want to add more DLCs for $5 each (or $20 for all six). DLCs). The Steam version also comes with the free Hero DLC, which includes the Hero cape, two skins, and a chicken. The game’s soundtrack and digital artbook are also free on Steam.
