Minecraft Dungeons is a fully cooperative ARPG from the creators of Minecraft, Mojang Studios. Since its launch, it has added tons of new content through paid DLC expansions like the recently released Howling Peaks DLC. Back at Minecraft Live, when Howling Peaks was announced, we also got a sneak peek at the other DLCs coming to Minecraft Dungeons. This preview included Nether, Underwater, and End locations.
Today on Twitter, the Minecraft Dungeons team shared another teaser that likely confirms what we already suspected: Minecraft Dungeons’ next DLC is going to the Nether.
The teaser image shows three piglins in the Nether, indicating that Minecraft Dungeons will take place in the recently updated Nether world, complete with all new mobs. Expect brutal combat with piglins and possibly new gear crafted from gold or netherite.
There’s no release date or even official confirmation for the next DLC for Minecraft Dungeons, but we probably won’t have too long to wait based on previous releases. Players can purchase the Season Pass now to gain access to Howling Peaks and the next three DLCs for Minecraft Dungeons, including the aforementioned Nether Getaway.
Minecraft Dungeons is available for Xbox and PC, and our Minecraft Dungeons review paints it as “hands down one of the best games Microsoft has released in the last decade.” Minecraft Dungeon is definitely at its best when played with friends, so be sure to pick up one of the best headsets for Xbox Series X | S to keep in touch with your team.
