Mojang announced Minecraft Dungeons: Ultimate Edition, a complete collection of the base game and all post-launch content. He launches the July 28 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, plus an all-new expansion known as echoing void.
If you missed the game or waited for more content, the Ultimate Edition comes with Jungle Awakens, Creeping Winter, Howling Peaks, Flames of the Nether, Hidden Depths, and the latest DLC, Echoing Void. Everything will be included for less than when purchased separately, although it has not yet been confirmed at what price the Ultimate Edition will be sold.
As for Echoing Void, it says “you’ll face daring new enemies, collect legendary gear, and traverse challenging missions to put an end to the unspeakable threat.” Along with this paid DLC, another wave of free content will also be included. The Gauntlet of Gales is an all-new mission set in a maze, which “tests your skills through tricky trials and puzzling puzzles”.
With 11.5 million players in the game’s first year, Minecraft Dungeons has seen great success since its launch in May 2020. Even with the Ultimate Edition and this latest content, Mojang said “there’s a lot more future”.
