Minecraft Dungeons today launched its 1.11.1.0 update on all platforms, so here is the full list of changes and fixes with today’s update. As we enter spooky season, it seems like every game is looking to celebrate with a few Halloween additions. And despite the huge list of bugfixes here, Minecraft Dungeons is no different. With a brand new event coming with today’s update, there’s bound to be plenty of spooky content for you to enjoy. Minecraft Dungeons Update 1.11.1.0 Patch Notes
Scariest Fall Event:
The Spookier Fall event is coming to Minecraft Dungeons to haunt your (mis)adventure vacation. Complete Season Trials to earn unique, season-exclusive items such as the Cackling Broomstick, Ghost Bow, and Jack-O-Lantern Soul Armor Set.
The event runs from October 13 (5am PDT / 12pm GMT) to November 2 (5am PDT / 12pm GMT). A spookier fall awaits!
REMARK: To progress towards rewards, you must have updated to version 1.11.1.0 and be connected to the internet during Season Trials.
Changes:
Pause the game
- The game can now be paused in local game sessions when the pause menu or inventory is open
Connectivity Status
- Added a Connectivity Status section to the game’s pause menu to indicate if the game is connected to the internet and game services. A status icon is also present in the lower right corner of the HUD
Beauty products
- Made some nice layout changes to the Cosmetics tab in Inventory
Fixes:
Gameplay
- Fixed players taking fall damage while rolling through doors (MCD-45)
- Collecting only mystery banners will now reward players with a “Raid Captain Bounty” chest (MCD-6550)
- Fixed the Gone Fishin’ achievement so Ancient Guardians and Drowned Necromancers no longer need to use the Fishing Rod to unlock the achievement (MCD-6366)
- Fixed the Dress for Success achievement not unlocking when wearing one of the unique emerald armors (MCD-6444)
- Fixed Torment Quiver doing nonsensical damage when stacked with Dynamo (MCD-4649)
- Hero Cape design appears correctly again (MCD-1813)
- Fixed players unable to equip Anniversary Cloak during local co-op (MCD-6022, MCD-6084)
- All local co-op players now share first player cosmetics when logged in on the same device
- Increased Twisting Vine Bow spore radius from 100 to 200, fixing Poison Trail not affecting some mobs
- Fixed online players falling into water and not getting stuck in a block of ice as intended on Frozen Fjord
monsters and bosses
- Fixed Key Golems sometimes spawning underground or falling through the ground (MCD-1729, MCD-6321)
- Fixed Frozen Zombie’s melee attack animation getting out of sync from when it deals damage (MCD-6085)
- Fixed Tempest Golem attacks having no effect on the player (MCD-6166)
- Fixed flickering issues with large magma cubes (MCD-6576)
- Fixed old mobs dropping ungolden unique items when using Luck of the Sea enchantment (MCD-6330)
- Reduced Shulker Levitation stun duration to prevent players from getting stuck on top of mobs (MCD-6337)
- Hoglins no longer ignores battle pets and the Wild Rage enchantment (MCD-5772)
- Stun mobs can no longer permanently stun players (MCD-6228)
- Fixed pets summoned from artifacts not tracking players correctly in sub-dungeons (MCD-6489)
- Increased target dummy health to accommodate weapons that deal more damage than its health (MCD-6431)
- Echoing Void final boss now has a chance for Void Projects to split into three upon detonation
- Fixed Auras still appearing after defeating enchanted mobs
- Echoing Void final mission boss no longer spawns endermites and mines outside of the arena
- Levitation is no longer applied to Leapleaf, Squall Golem, Rampart Captain and Ravager, to fix pathfinding issues
- Fixed some of the Daily Trials modifiers having no effect on melee mobs
- The Poison Cloud enchantment no longer causes mobs to be thrown with excessive force
- Trial rules for crowd enchantment no longer affect pets summoned by artifacts
Tasks
- Fixed local co-op players getting stuck in a doorway in the Endersent area of Cacti Canyon
- Fixed missing supply chest on Pumpkin Pastures
- Fixed an invisible collision that blocked arrows in the Endersent area of Soggy Swamp
- Fixed several issues with the puzzle in the Endersent area of Soggy Swamp when playing online multiplayer
- Fixed a few areas that were blocking the player’s view of Broken Citadel
- Fixed some Stronghold doors being open to players without Eyes of Ender
Graphics and audio
- Fixed music stuttering on mission select screen when pressing cursor on edge of map (MCD-5807)
- Fixed graphical corruption that occurred on Desert Temple when playing on Xbox Series S (MCD-6254)
- Fixed flickering textures on some corals in Coral Rise
- Added missing Traditional Chinese voiceovers for the intro and ending cutscenes of several DLC missions
- Increased volume of Dingy Jungle intro cinematic for Simplified Chinese
Accessibility
- Fixed screen reader not reading correct mission modifiers
- Fixed an issue that prevented the screen reader from reading inventory items in local sessions
- Fixed screen reader not reading options correctly in advanced graphics settings
- Fixed screen reader referencing the wrong button to gift items to other players
User interface
- The Endermite now has a proper description in the Cosmetics tab, though we will miss its previous amazing description! (MCD-6343)
- Pressing “Show Next” on the mission select screen now lists Flames of the Nether and Echoing Void missions in the correct order (MCD-6393)
- Fixed missing boss health bar for players joining mid game on Broken Citadel
- Fixed players being unable to navigate mission select screens after pressing “Backspace”
- The “Hero Settings” button in the main menu is now correctly aligned in all languages when playing in local co-op
