Top 4 X-Ray Problems in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.19

Minecraft is a great game, but every game has its share of bugs and issues. Sometimes these issues are problematic, but other times they can also be helpful. One of the best examples of this is X-ray glitches, which allow players to peek through solid blocks to find materials or structures.

Although Mojang occasionally fixes these issues, it is still possible for Minecraft players to use some after patch 1.19. This is especially prevalent in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, as players have reported various issues that still provide at least partial x-ray vision.

Below, players can find some of those tactics that still work as intended.

4) Boat method

This is one of the oldest x-ray problems in recent versions of the game. The method requires nothing more than a pickaxe, a boat, and a potion of night vision. Players will want to head underground and dig a tunnel one block wide and two blocks high for as long as they want. Once the tunnel has been dug with a pickaxe, players can place their boat on one side of the tunnel wall.

After drinking their night vision potion, all Minecraft players need to do is enter the boat and slowly push themselves towards the wall. This should allow players to walk through the wall, and their night vision potion will allow them to see nearby structures.

3) Piston/slab method

With two slabs, two building blocks, two pistons, and two levers, Minecraft players can easily gain X-ray vision. This method also benefits from a night vision potion like many others.

The process is quite simple: players will want to dig a corridor, then place one piston on the ground facing them, with the other attached to the roof. In front of each piston, place a slab. Then place a building block above/below the pistons with a lever attached to each. Finally, players can simply activate the lower piston and then the upper piston. This should provide x-ray vision above the players.

2) Snow method

This simple Bedrock Edition method should easily provide players with X-ray vision with almost no effort. All it takes is some snow which can be scooped out of the ground with a shovel. Players can use received snowballs and turn them into snow blocks before turning them into carpet-sized snow blocks.

Once players have a significant amount of snow, they can head underground. There, players must then dig a 1×1 hole, which must then be surrounded by snow blocks. Then all players need to do is jump into the hole and switch perspectives. This should allow players to use the camera to look under layers of snow for an x-ray view.

As with other methods of gaining x-ray vision, bringing a night vision potion will help players improve their eyesight significantly.

1) Creeping Glitch

Crawling is a mechanic that was slow to arrive in the game. However, now that it has arrived, it presents an opportunity for x-ray vision.

For this cheat, players will want to crawl into a small 1×1 space. This can be accomplished either by using a bucket of water to swim under the space or by placing a trapdoor to crawl under. Then players can place a slab in front of them with a plunger behind it. Place a lever next to the plunger, then activate the lever. This should push players into a position where they can look below themselves and get x-ray vision.

As with other methods, it is advisable to use a night vision potion. This will give players a much better view of X-ray regions than they normally would. The potion is particularly effective for players trying to find specific structures such as Fortresses, Mine Shafts, or even the new Ancient Towns introduced after the Wild update.
